OVERAL CONDITION
This is a well maintained vessel with no problems, just regular maintenance. No delamination, no soft spots. All through-holes and valves were replaced in 2003, new in-mast halyards, outboard engine was professionally rebuilt in August 2006.
VESSEL WALKTHROUGH
The Northstar 500 design features flush deck for unobstructed sails handling, aft cockpit with one stateroom. Beautiful cast deck hardware, tow rail, new Saturn compass and a gorgeous wood tiller. Stainless steel stanchions with lifelines. Interior is carpeted and features, custom wood work, V-berth, two aft berths, port and starboard settee, cushions, sleeps 4 adults and to port and starboard is a settee that can sleep two kids as well. Lots of storage, large fore hatch, four vents.

RIGGING
Tall rig, for the size of the boat. This sloop features keel-stepped aluminum 34’ mast, two spreaders, six stainless steel wire stays featuring new turnbuckles. Two new, in-mast, spliced halyards. Seven winches to carry any sail configuration. Boom, toping lift, traveler and two jib sheet travelers, boomvang.
SAILS
This boat moves nicely for its size and points well. The three sails included in this sale are in good condition. Hank-on jib and large genoa have two reefing points, so does the main sail.
ELECTRICAL
12V DC system: 2 batteries, battery selector switch, electric panel with 7 individually fused switches, battery test, lighter plug, battery charger, CD player AM/FM with speakers, LED cabin lights, LED anchor light, nav lights, automatic electric bilge pump, float switch.
ENGINE
Two strokes Mariner 8HP outboard was professionally rebuilt in August 2006 (receipts available). Two independent fuel systems (built in fuel tank and portable fuel tank with two separate fuel lines)

Saturn Compass (new 2001); Danforth anchor, heaving line, boat hook, docking lines and fenders. Life jackets, flare gun, horn, extinguisher.
